Allentown Antique Book, Paper & Advertising Show

Tennessee Antiquarian Book Fair

West Texas Book Festival

Utah Humanities Book Festival

This festival has events happening around the entire state rather than in one location during the month of October. They also have some rather unusual events including the Utah Literary Awards, concerts, interviews, panels, readings, performances, book sales and signings, letterpress printing, bookmaking and papermaking, hands-on activities for children, rare book appraisals, a Day of the Dead Authors (sitting among the tombstones of their favorite dead children’s authors while reading), a Define-a-Thon and more.

Chippewa Valley Book Festival

This is not a standard festival but rather a dynamic week-long event with a variety of programs that promote reading and writing. Authors and readers are brought together through readings, book discussions, workshops, author receptions, and children’s programs. Schools benefit from authors' appearances, and the conclusion is the reading by the winners of the Creative Writing Competition for Young Writers.
